    The Perfect Patient Pathway was an awarded NHS England Wave 1 Test Bed site. It involved 28 partners spanning across health, social care, education, technology and voluntary sector organisations in the Sheffield City Region.

    On 13 October, people representing voluntary, community and faith sector organisations across the City met for a Health and Social Care Forum meeting run by Healthwatch Sheffield.

    In July 2017, we hosted a VCF (Voluntary, Community and Faith sector) Forum to explore how we can promote health and wellbeing in Sheffield.

    The topic for the final Forum of 2017 was chosen based on public feedback. They believed that despite a number of attempts to re-think commissioning, the talents and expertise of the VCF sector

    Loneliness and social isolation affect so many people in our society and we know that the voluntary sector have been tackling these issues for years and have many valuable insights and ideas to share.

    The final Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector (VCF) Health & Wellbeing Forum of 2018 was ‘Ready, Set, Engage!’. We focused on what effective engagement looks like & how the work done by VCF organisations can improve health and social care services

    For the VCF Forum in March 2018, Healthwatch Sheffield worked in partnership with Sheffield City Council to discuss Scrutiny.

    Scrutiny is an essential part of modern government. It helps to ensure that government is effective and accountable.

    In August 2019, we worked with photography group Archive Sheffield to celebrate some amazing local people.

    The Sheffield Chinese Community Centre works to support people of Chinese descent living in Sheffield. They wanted to explore the impact of the emerging COVID-19 pandemic on the people who use the centre.

    NHS Sheffield CCG ran an 18 week consultation into the future of urgent care in the city between 6th September 2017 and 31st January 2018. This report from our Strategic Advisory Group outlines our position on the process.

    Our Strategic Advisory Group have published a position statement about engaging patients and citizens with emerging health structures - the Accountable Care Partnership and the Integrated Care System.
