    On 16 March 2017, Healthwatch Sheffield hosted a Health and Social Care Forum for voluntary, community and faith groups in the city.

    In January 2019, the NHS published their Long Term Plan – their vision for the next 10 years. Following this, local Healthwatch were commissioned to run engagement work in their local area to find out what local people would like this to look like.

    On 13 October, people representing voluntary, community and faith sector organisations across the City met for a Health and Social Care Forum meeting run by Healthwatch Sheffield.

    The final Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector (VCF) Health & Wellbeing Forum of 2018 was ‘Ready, Set, Engage!’. We focused on what effective engagement looks like & how the work done by VCF organisations can improve health and social care services

    Scrutiny is an essential part of modern government. It helps to ensure that government is effective and accountable.
