    Edukation Solutions is an organisation that offers courses to those who have English as a second language. They used their #SpeakUp Grant to consult with the BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) community about their views on health care

    Reach South Sheffield is a community regeneration organisation working with local people in the communities of Gleadless Valley, Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe. They heard from parents about their experiences of accessing health services.

    Sheffield ME & Fibromyalgia Group provides information and support for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and Fibromyalgia, their families and carers.
    They used their #SpeakUp Grant to create a film documenting the ‘Missing Millions’ event.

    South Yorkshire Eating Disorders Association (SYEDA) helps people with eating disorders and their supporters. They used their #SpeakUp Grant to explore a voice initiative and to consider the new eating disorders pathway in Sheffield.

    Foxhill Forum is a community organisation based in North East Sheffield. They used their #SpeakUp Grant to support local pople to take photos using the theme of health and wellbeing and to discuss their own experiences.

    SAYiT provides support for young people aged 12-25 years old who identify as LGBT+ or affected by HIV. They used their #SpeakUp Grant to explore young people’s experiences of sex and relationships, health and puberty advice and education.

    City of Sanctuary Sheffield provide information, advice and support to refugees and asylum seekers. They used their #SpeakUp grant to explore what kinds of health and wellbeing advice and activities would help asylum seekers and refugees.

    Sheffield Mencap & Gateway provides support to adults and children with learning disabilities and their families and carers. They wanted to explore the awareness of and experiences of people with learning disabilities regarding Annual Health Checks.

    2018-19 was the second year of our #SpeakUp small grants scheme. Building on last year's success, we awarded grants to 11 local groups who helped their communities to #SpeakUp about health and social care. You can read a summary of the reports here.
