Healthwatch Sheffield (HWS) facilitated a Sheffield Health and Wellbeing Board Event in October 2015 on the topic of adult social care. The focus was on capturing service user experiences and using this to change care for the better.

In 2015/16, NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group and Sheffield City Council undertook work to understand the needs of Sheffield residents in relation to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and living with cancer.

On Friday 11th September 2015, a team from Healthwatch Sheffield was present in the main waiting area in A&E at the Northern General Hospital from 4pm until midnight.
