Join our team as Community Outreach Lead

We’re recruiting!
Healthwatch Sheffield are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our staff team.

This is an incredible opportunity for a pro-active person to have a direct impact on shaping health and social care in Sheffield that will improve the lives of local people. As a Community Outreach Lead, you will use your strong networking and relationship building skills to identify opportunities to get out into the community to gather feedback from the public about their experiences and views.

You will spend a lot of your time out and about speaking to people and working with groups and organisations (across the public, private and voluntary sectors). The successful person will help recruit and develop a team of volunteer ambassadors to support our activities.  The aim of your role will be to help deliver Healthwatch Sheffield’s strategy by involving citizens and communities in gathering views and experiences of health and social care services.  Hearing from the public helps to build on our evidence base in order to influence those who design, commission and deliver services on a local and national level.

You will need excellent time management and organisational skills to progress multiple priorities to deadlines. You will also need to have a passion for working creatively, using a range of different communication methods to gather views, so they can impact on service design and/or provision.
