#SpeakUp small grants 2017-18 - Sheffield Chinese Community Centre
The Sheffield Chinese Community Centre used their #SpeakUp grant to conduct surveys, interviews, workshops and a focus group meeting with Chinese members to obtain feedback about their experiences and views on local health and social services.
Our #SpeakUp small grants scheme awards funding to local community, voluntary, or not-for-profit groups, enabling them to engage with their communities about what matters to them.
Topics discussed with the groups:
- GPs, hospitals, and reasons why individuals may choose to access different health advice such as traditional Chinese medicine
- Social care, and where people will go to for information about these services
