Our New Information & Advice Drop-in Service

At Healthwatch Sheffield, we gather your views and experiences of health and social care services to help shape them for the better. We are an independent organisation meaning we are separate from the NHS and city council. We understand that navigating health and social care systems can sometimes be confusing, which is why we’ve launched this drop-in service – to provide you with accessible, independent information and advice. Our service is entirely free and open to anyone living in or using health and social care services in Sheffield. 

So, what kind of questions can we help you with? Our advisor can offer information and support on a range of topics, including understanding your rights as a patient, exploring the care and support options available to you or your family, and guiding you on how to raise any concerns you might have about a negative experience with a service. Whether you're unsure about your entitlement to a particular treatment, looking for information on local support groups, or need to know the best way to voice a complaint, we're here to listen and point you in the right direction. 

We believe that everyone in Sheffield deserves to have access to clear and understandable information about health and social care. This new drop-in service is just one more way we're working to make that a reality.
