Could you be our new Engagement Officer?

Are you passionate about improving health and social care and well-being in Sheffield?
Are you committed to listening to local voices and making sure citizens and communities are represented?
Have you got exceptional engagement skills?

Healthwatch Sheffield is the local consumer champion for health and social care. It was established in April 2013 following government legislation – Voluntary Action Sheffield has been delivering this service in Sheffield since that time.

We are looking to recruit an Engagement Officer to work in the team.  This post is for someone who has the skills to engage with a range of groups and individuals – to hear views, and gather intelligence about people’s experiences of health and social care services in the city.

The post holder will have the ability to take this information and use it in compiling written reports; they will also need to be confident in presenting the information within meetings and to external partners.

We warmly welcome applications from individuals from all of Sheffield’s population groups and diverse communities.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Lucy Davies, Chief Officer:
