Hypermobility Syndromes Project

The purpose of the project is to collect the voices of adults with hypermobility syndromes in Yorkshire and the Humber in order to develop an understanding of your health and social care experiences.

We will report on these experiences, sharing our understanding with commissioners and service providers so that they have a clearer picture of the health and social care experiences of adults with hypermobility syndromes. We hope to interact with commissioners and service providers to work towards addressing the service issues identified.

This study is a joint project by all the Healthwatch organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber. Healthwatch Calderdale is leading the project.

We have developed a survey which asks about five main areas:

  • Clinical background – about your symptoms and diagnosis
  • Your experience of getting a diagnosis
  • Your NHS experience
  • Your social care experience
  • What worked well in your health/social care experience and what would make the experience better

There is also an opportunity for you to tell us anything else that you feel is relevant to your experience of your condition.

Would you like to take part?
