Join the Healthwatch Sheffield team

If you are interested in helping people to influence local health and social care, the perfect job could be waiting for you here at Healthwatch Sheffield.

The contract to run Healthwatch Sheffield for the next five years was recently up for tender. Voluntary Action Sheffield retained the contract although the project is being redesigned for the next cycle. This means that a number of staff roles have changed making opportunities for new people to join.

The roles on offer are:

  • Engagement & Volunteering Coordinator
  • Engagement Officer
  • Operational Support Officer (Communications)

Healthwatch Sheffield turns 10!

In 2023, Healthwatch turned 10 years old. That’s 10 years of working to improve health and social care for people in Sheffield.
This has only been possible because of the individuals who’ve spoken to us about their experiences, and organisations who want to help make things better.

To celebrate, we had a birthday party on 21st September with some of the people we’ve worked with over the last decade.

Every year we focus on specific topics alongside our usual work. In 2022 our projects included Long Covid, Black and Asian women's experiences of maternity care, and older people's experiences of care homes.
