Our quarterly report: April - June 2025
Our quarterly reports are a chance to reflect on the work we've been doing over the last 3 months.
We want to share these updates with you, so you can stay informed about changes that are happening in the local health and social care system, how they're impacting on local people, and how we're making sure your views influence those decisions.
This quarter has been particularly challenging. In May, our much loved Chair Judy Robinson unexpectedly passed away. In June, we were given news about the government's proposals to close Healthwatch England and the network of local Healthwatch.
We are developing our local response to this news. However, we continue to work hard for local people and to amplify their voices and views.
Highlights from April - June include:
- Holding stakeholder events in Wybourn and Richmond Park, to help shape our project connecting local people to health information
- Awarding Speak Up grants to 6 organisations for projects to hear the views of children and young people
- Marking National Patient Participation week by sharing blogs written by local people who are actively involved in supporting patient participation at the GP Surgeries
