#SpeakUp 2021 - JCI Sheffield

JCI Sheffield is a voluntary organisation that provides development opportunities for young people (in their 20s and 30s) to create positive change.

Our #SpeakUp small grants scheme awards funding to local community, voluntary, or not-for-profit groups, enabling them to engage with their communities about what matters to them.

What helps young adults to manage their mental health on a day-to-day basis?

JCI Sheffield ran an online survey and short interviews, speaking to 22 people about their experiences of mental health and.

They wanted to find out:

  • What support people have accessed for their mental health
  • How comfortable people feel discussing their mental health
  • What helps people to look after their mental wellbeing on a day-to-day basis
