We have created a short survey hoping to gather some insight into what young people feel about cosmetic procedures, what influences their views and what information would help them make informed decisions.

What are cosmetic procedures?

Cosmetic procedures or beauty 'quick fixes' includes surgical procedures like liposuction and hair transplants, and non-surgical treatments like botox, dermal fillers, dental whitening and veneers.

Cosmetic procedures are becoming increasingly visible and discussed online, especially across social media platforms.

Why are we doing this survey?

We would like to understand how young people feel about the quickly-changing world of beauty/cosmetic procedures and what factors might influence their decisions. We will make an information resource using insights gathered from the survey, that provides young people with the right information to make safe and informed decisions regarding cosmetic procedures.

Who can take part?

• This survey is aimed at those aged between 15-25.
• We want to hear from everyone - including those who have had cosmetic procedures, and those who haven't.
