What matters to you? Get creative and you could win a £20 voucher

Children's Mental Health week is in February and the theme is 'My Voice Matters'. Find out how you can have your say by getting creative.

Children's Mental Health Week is a mental health awareness week that aims to give a voice to all children and young people in the UK. This year the theme is 'My Voice Matters'.

We've been inspired by the activities they're running in schools and youth groups, and want to give families in Sheffield the chance to share their children's artwork too - and be in with a chance of winning a £20 voucher.

Your pictures will be seen by people who make decisions about health and wellbeing services in Sheffield. It's important that they know what matters to children and young people when they're trying to make things better for you.

Send us your pictures by Monday 26th February for a chance to win.

Get involved

What matters to you in your day to day life, and in the wider world?

It might be playing games with your friends, having someone to talk to, or learning about nature. Your voice matters, and no one expresses their view in the same way you do.

We're inviting families to get your pencil crayons and felt tips out: let us know what's important to you.

We would love to see your drawings, paintings or collages.

Your parent or guardian can send us a photo of your creation for us to share. And you will be in with a chance of winning a £20 voucher.

What's involved?

1. Check out the activity on childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk:

2. Create your own 'what matters to you' artwork - such as a drawing, painting or collage. It doesn't have to look like the examples above - but they might help for inspiration.

3. Share it with us by Monday 26th February:

4. We'll share pictures on social media. We'll also use the images in our publications, including a briefing about what matters to children and young people in Sheffield. This will be available to read on our website.

5. We'll enter you into a draw to win a £20 Love2Shop voucher

Who can take part?

We're looking for submissions from anyone aged 18 or under, living in Sheffield.

Your parent or guardian can send us your drawing on your behalf. You can remain anonymous, or you can share your first name and your age with us.
