What's important to you? Help shape our work

Let us know what your health and care priorities are, so we can shape our workplan for the coming years.

Our work covers NHS and social care services in Sheffield for people of all ages, including GPs, hospitals, ambulances, mental health services, pharmacies, dentists, sexual health services, home care and care homes.

Every year we focus on specific topics alongside our usual work. In 2022 our projects included Long Covid, Black and Asian women's experiences of maternity care, and older people's experiences of care homes.

We want to know what you think we should focus on over the next 2 years.

Take the survey

We've designed a short survey so you can let us know what's important to you. It could be anything relating to NHS and social care services - what do we need to look at in more detail? Share your views and help to shape our work:

Our public meetings

We held three public meetings in February - two online and one in-person. These sessions were an opportunity for us to give an update on our work over the last year, and talk to members of the public and voluntary sector representatives about what we should focus on next. This feedback will influence our decision-making, along with the feedback we get through the survey and elsewhere.

Shaping our work

We will decide the year's priority areas based on:

  • The topics you tell us are important to you
  • Feedback we've been hearing over the previous year
  • Changes that are happening in the health & care system
  • Opportunities to make the biggest impact for local people

Our Strategic Advisory Group will help us to make a final decision about our priorities. We'll publish our workplan to make sure you know what we'll be focusing on.
