Disability Regional Stakeholder Network – Apply Now!

If you have a disability or you are part of an organisation representing and supporting people with disabilities, this is your chance to make your voice heard.

On behalf of the UK Government, the Office for Disability Issues is launching the Regional Stakeholder Network. This aims to provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to engage with government on disability issues through face-to-face forums. The Network will cover a broad range of topics, as a channel for people to share their views about policies and services that affect you.

The Regional Stakeholder Network will bring the views of disabled people and disabled people’s organisations, closer to government. Through its 9 groups across England it will create face to face forums and provide an opportunity to share views.

The Office for Disability Issues is looking for Chairs to lead and drive the efforts of their group forward, and Members to share their views and experiences to help government make improvements.

There are 9 regional groups across England:

  • North West
  • North East
  • Yorkshire and the Humber
  • West Midlands
  • East Midlands
  • South West
  • South East
  • East of England
  • Greater London

You can apply to join until 17th April 2019
