Can you provide a patient/carer perspective on asthma?

We are looking for someone who has asthma or cares for someone with asthma to give their perspective on some work being carried out into how new technology can support the management of this condition.

Healthwatch Sheffield is working closely with partners of the Sheffield Test Bed Programme to lead on the public and patient involvement for the Sheffield Test Bed,  one of a number of national NHS test bed projects. The 2-year programme aims to help improve the lives of people with a number of long term health conditions by using technology to help them stay well and retain their independence .

One of the projects involves a device that can record and track when your inhaler has been pressed. The programme involving the device is being managed separately, your role as Test Bed Champion would be to provide your views on how the Test Bed team can best support the way the trial is designed and  how the patients are supported, for example by reviewing patient documentation.
