Healthwatch Sheffield looking for Project Officer

We are looking to recruit a Project Officer to join the team.

The Project Officer will play a key role in:

  • intelligence gathering from the public and patients, partner organisations and other stakeholders, including research, consumer feedback, and making the best use of Healthwatch Sheffield’s ‘ratings and review’ online tool
  • analysis of the evidence gathered for consideration in team and Board meetings, for feeding back to partner organisations and for reports and communications.
  • following up with service providers on issues raised from intelligence gathering and consumer feedback
  • drafting reports and briefings to use in our work to influence health and social care services
  • keeping abreast of policy developments through active relationships with partner organisations locally and nationally and through publications and websites
  • taking forward pieces of work identified through intelligence and policy work
  • representing Healthwatch Sheffield at meetings
  • supporting Healthwatch Sheffield’s engagement team and children’s and young people’s worker with the research tools and policy briefings to carry out their work effectively
  • supporting Healthwatch Sheffield’s representatives and Board members with briefings to enable them to contribute effectively at meetings, and gather and collate their feedback to use in planning and policy development.
  • supporting any volunteers involved in research and intelligence gathering.
