We’re recruiting a new Chief Officer!

We are looking for an exceptional person to take on the role of Chief Officer.

Our Chief Officer will have leadership experience, passion and commitment to build on Healthwatch Sheffield’s excellent track record.

Our new Chief Officer will have a system leadership role at a strategic level, influencing and shaping decisions made by commissioners and providers and supporting the integrated health and social care agenda. S/he will understand and negotiate the balance of building constructive relationships and ensuring that services are held accountable when necessary.

At the same time, s/he will be approachable and skilled at listening to individual experiences and forming partnerships with groups and communities. S/he will understand the value of community empowerment and insight and will be committed to addressing inequalities and ensuring that local people have a say in health and social care improvements.

We are looking for an effective operational manager to develop and support our staff and volunteers to be the best we can be, in a creative, exciting and fast moving environment.
