Test Bed Advisory Group news

On Wednesday 15th March, some members of the Sheffield City Region Test Bed Advisory Group (TAG ) visited the Yorkshire & Humber Digital Health & Wellbeing Ecosystem meeting in Wakefield.

The meeting included health care professionals, academics and researchers.

The Sheffield City Region Test Bed Programme, also known as Perfect Patient Pathway, is one of seven national NHS Test Bed Programmes. It focuses on how technology can help those with multiple long-term health conditions stay independent and avoid unplanned hospital admissions. Healthwatch Sheffield is the engagement partner on this project.

TAG members helped deliver a presentation about the value of their work and using technology to manage long term health conditions. They also facilitated discussions about the barriers that prevent patients from adopting technology to manage their health and the factors important in promoting long term behaviour change.

They did an amazing job. Thank you all for your hard work and contributions. You really helped demonstrate the benefits of public engagement in improving services.
